What Company's Use Colossus?

The following is a list of insurance companies believed to use insurance claims evaluation software Colossus. The company that makes Colossus, Computer Services Corporation, declined to reveal which companies license its product, citing confidentiality restrictions.

The list below was compiled by Bellevue, Wash. attorney Karen Koehler based on her review of court cases, depositions, press releases and other research.

Koehler is an expert and speaker on the use of the software by insurance companies and has written a book on the subject. The dates next to the insurance company names indicate approximately when the company began using the program, if known.

How much are upgrades?

Free! All upgrades are free to persons who have purchased our software.

Do I need Code Express?

If you already have a program so look up your codes, then no. If your fine with flipping thru a big book searching for the specific code, then no. By making sure you have the right injury and treatment code and making sure your adjuster is imputing them into there system will insure you fair settlement.

Can I install this on my computer at home to?

We require you to purchase a workstation license if you are going to be installing our software on more that one machine. This licence is required if you need technical support for your network setup of either Demand Expert or Medical Report Expert.
